Hutton Roof and Newbiggin

Events

Our annual Fell Race is – by far – our biggest event, having started in 1987.
It always happens on the Saturday of the May Bank Holiday weekend and is held in conjunction with our Country Fair where there are a huge range of activities and stalls for the whole family.
But we’re not just about the Fell Race and the Country Fair – the residents of Hutton Roof, Newbiggin and Sealford are a very sociable lot and enjoy many get-togethers throughout the year.

Most of these centre on the Village Hall and raise funds for its upkeep.
It is fair to say that most of the events also centre around food and drink, enjoying the fruits of each others labours and of local producers.

Every week! 1.30 – 3.30pm
The village hall will be open every Wednesday 1.30 – 3.30 for kids play time and open house for all. Bring any thing you want to do or just chat and chill.
Play on the field or in the hall; cricket, football, pool table , ball pit, duplo available.
Donation requested for tea & coffee.
